I have been in the construction industry for over 48 years, starting the day after I graduated high school.

While I have played a part in almost all aspects of construction, the majority of my time has been spent doing finish carpentry or laminate work.

Throughout my career I have been able to work on some memorable projects including the chimp exhibit at John Ball Zoo and also the West Michigan Whitecaps stadium.

I have 25 acres of hobby farm, which includes corn, hay and even 3 cows. As you can imagine, this keeps me very busy.

When I get some downtime, I enjoy working on old tractors. There is nothing more rewarding than getting one of these up and running again.

I have 8 grand kids who I try to soak up as much time with when I can.
